
Running is a wonderful aerobic exercise and is a great way to improve your vascular health, even if it is just gentle jogging to start with. It is also good for burning calories and helps with weight management. It will also benefit immensely, if you take part in other sports e.g. Tennis, Golf, Football and so on. When you follow a regular running work-out, you will see in just a couple of weeks how your fitness and stamina will improve.
As your fitness improves you will gain more pride in yourself and learn to appreciate your body more. As a runner your self-reliance and self-commitment will greatly increase and help boost your self -confidence.
Ask the Gym instructor for advice on getting started with a gentle programme and gradually work up to a more challenging routine for your individual requirements.
